Eunice (@whysogloomy) is a designer and maker based in Singapore. Having graduated with a Masters in Architecture, her professional work began with spatial design with a focus on events and exhibitions. However, it is through slow making and experimenting through craftwork where she found a balance between the joy and rigour of creating.

Working primarily with paper, she is intrigued by the visual and formal transformations the material allows for. Her work often reimagines identifiable and familiar motifs, re-presenting them in alternative ways in hopes of cultivating a new way of seeing. 

She has a penchant for all things old and draws inspiration from everyday objects. She spends her time wondering about how the universe works, watching one too many documentaries, listening to music from a different time, getting lost in the stories of people from a different world and almost always enjoying a glass of iced cold beer.
